The end of Aries season draws near. We are getting ready to slow down with Taurus season this weekend, and I for one cannot wait. But between the final push of Aries’ raging inferno and the waxing moon (which is increasing in energy) and the fact that we are still in eclipse season, it’s a week where we must be conscious of our efforts to Do The Most. Especially for those in or recovering from burnout, this is a week to be very mindful that the astro-weather is pushing us towards more and towards Doing when what we may need is, in fact, rest.
As I have written before and will write again: Working with astrology is, more often than not, about making an informed decision about how to function in less than ideal conditions. And the experienced practitioner knows that what is “good” astro-weather for one person might be the antithesis of what someone else needs. What one person needs to embrace or channel, another person needs to manage or mitigate.
It is only a capitalist-colonialist framework that embraces constant, hungry growth as a “positive” and any limitations or slowing down as a “negative.”
So here, at the start of the week, have an honest check-in with your body, your heart, your mind, your spirit. Consider what you need to get done with what you feel pressured (especially internally, especially from the Aries part of your chart) to get done. Keep that in mind as you approach the week, which is especially packed in the back half (including an ultra-rare Jupiter-Uranus conjunction which promises to break things open).

Perhaps your dreams invite a new way of thinking about a project. Perhaps you stay up late into the night revisioning the aesthetics of your latest work. Perhaps you’re re-thinking and re-doing your overall personal style or home vibes.
