EDIT: Y’all completely booked me out within 3 hours! Incredible. As per usual, you’ll be the first to hear about any future availability.
Hi y’all,
I’ve opened my books to new clients for the next few months for a very specific kind of reading (my favorite kind) that I’ve developed over the last few years of private practice: a 3rd house reading.
The 3rd house of the birth chart isn't just our local neighborhoods or our siblings or K12 education. It’s the part of the chart that indicates how we go about our daily routine and most especially our daily rituals. Where we tend and nourish what we most value.
Like, say, our writing.
Communication also lives in the 3rd house: writing, texting, conversations. Pair this with the fact that it is the home of our daily rituals, and you can see how I have long looked to this part of a person’s birth chart to reveal something about their ideal writing routines.
Seems obvious. But there is, of course, a major hangup: the fact that we live in a 9-5 capitalist world that sells us stories about how, exactly, we should produce. How many interviews or writing books have you read and thought, well, obviously I am going about my own writing life in entirely the wrong way?
Looking at your 3rd house — no matter how "empty" — reveals so much about how and when best we write. It also offers an extraordinary reframe for the stories we have collectively bought into about what “should” or “ought” to work for us.
Here is what folks who have worked with me 1:1 have to say:
My 3rd House reading with Jeanna occurred within a stressful writing project that had continued to drag on infinitely. With her sharp astro-writer perspective, she immediately cut through the toxic fog of stories I’d held about writing that, quite simply, were not mine to cling to. Since our reading — nearly two years ago now! — I’ve continued to explore the core takeaways, improving not just my writing but my overall creativity in the process. I highly highly recommend working with Jeanna if identifying YOUR writerly embodiment is a priority for you. — Diana Rose Harper, astrologer and co-creator of the Rosebud Tarot
Jeanna has an innate understanding of what it takes to be a creative professional because she is one herself; she speaks so kindly about how astrology intersects with not just art, but artistic process. This reading was super affirming of my own rhythms as a writer. I definitely cried after. — A.E. Osworth, author of WE ARE WATCHING ELIZA BRIGHT
Jeanna is exactly what you want in an astrologer for (gasp, sorry) writers. I felt seen, pwned, inspired, challenged, mildly insulted, and she is already in my book acknowledgements. I love her. — Nicole Cliffe, co-founder of The Toast
Jeanna is knowledgeable, insightful, and organized in the ways of all the best Capricorns. Working with her has been a great gift in my long history of working with astrologers; she is brilliant, and conveys her wisdom well. — Esmé Weijun Wang, author of THE COLLECTED SCHIZOPHRENIAS and THE BORDER OF PARADISE
Jeanna is my most trusted astrologer. In a sometimes crowded space, her insights always stand out from the crowd. She has an incredibly deep knowledge of her field, and — a natural teacher — she manages to break down the information in a relatable and practical way. I walk away feeling wiser, grounded, and empowered, understanding myself and the stars a little bit better each time. I can’t recommend working with her enough. — Kyley Caldwell, Akashic Records Teacher & co-host of the Hello Universe podcast
This reading is best for folks who have a working familiarity with their birth chart. If you’re interested in a more general natal birth chart reading, I have a list of astrologers I personally have worked with and recommend for you here.
And for those of you for whom this is resonant, I am excited to work with you!
just booked 🦋 can't wait!
