I’ve been hinting at a ~secret project~ for a while, and am so excited to be able to finally announce it properly! tl;dr: I’m launching a podcast with my love Meg Jones Wall of 3am.tarot and my friend, the brilliant queer numerologist

CALL YOUR COVEN: Practical Advice for Nonsensical Times is a podcast for the spiritually-attuned that weaves together the practices of numerology, astrology, and the tarot, in order to gain supportive insights for everyday life. Hosted by Rebecca ‘Bee’ Scolnick (numerology), Jeanna Kadlec (astrology), and Meg Jones Wall (tarot), Call Your Coven is equal parts forecast and exploration of these connected but differing modalities, all rooted in mutual respect and love of community. Come for the monthly forecast, stay for the vibes!

Gonna be totally real: I never thought I’d do a podcast. I love guesting on them (invite me to yours!), but I have seen how much work they are on the back end and have consequently been wary of taking one on as a solo project. But it was so easy to say an instant full body yes when Bee pitched “but what if we did a podcast?” to Meg and me over a very gay NYC brunch. Bee and her wife Stacey (our invisible fourth team member!) are video editors and producers. I’ve got a long history in marketing and copywriting. Meg has a classic jack of all trades background but is particularly gifted at creating a coherent brand aesthetic through photography, graphic design, and visual assets. And we all either are or have been solopreneur small business owners. There’s a lot of knowledge and a lot of trust — things that are key for any collaboration.

(Is it Virgo season? Is Virgo my 8th house of shared resources and collaboration?! I LOVE when the astrology astrologies!)

This is the podcast I wish I’d had when I was just starting out on my spiritual journey. Hell, it’s the podcast I want now: a bunch of friends talking about how their various witchy practices apply to everyday life in practical, tangible ways that aren’t over-reliant on technical-speak. This group project is very much “be the change you want to see in the world!”

The first episodes (including the September forecast) will drop next Friday, August 30th.
