It’s a big week ahead — Mercury changes signs, and a Venus-Neptune story is winding down.
But before we get into the astrology! I really like how my friend and Call Your Coven co-host
summarizes what she’s been up to, so I’m going to try it out in lieu of longer introductory paragraphs you have to wade through.ICYMI:

all times are eastern
Sunday, January 26th
1:32pm: Mercury in Capricorn sextile Neptune in Pisces (27*)
In a time where we might be taking the work so seriously, insistent that it must mean something, we are offered a reprieve. Time to go think about your latest novel outline in the bath, or play with your pets, or enjoy some recreational cannabis. It is the weekend, after all.
6:11pm: Venus in Pisces sextile Uranus Rx in Taurus (23*)
Sometimes, the planets move in ways that force us to take notice. Creatrix Venus’ brief interaction with Uranus, the planet of uprising and revolution, invites us to disrupt our ideas about pleasure. On a mass scale, we see this playing out in the Public Discourse around who gets to have it and why (LGBTQ+ crackdowns, hello). On a more personal, artistic level, we might ask: how can we be more open to receiving goods and attention? Has our aesthetic become a bit stale?
This is a quick moment: an invitation to experiment with genre, to play with social media branding. The solution might be as quick as a chapter edit or a luxurious bath. Release expectations and see what happens.
