The Full Moon at 23* Libra arrives Saturday, April 12th at 8:22pm Eastern.
And the vibe is: desperate to join the party, but nervous as hell.
The good news: we are officially clear of 2025’s first eclipse season. Glory hallelujah. This weekend brings a sense of conclusion, or at least reflection, to any questions posed by events around the very last (solar, New Moon) Libra eclipse on October 2, 2024. It feels like years have passed since then, and so it may be worth returning to your calendar, planner, or journal to see what you were doing around that time and how those events have ripened or fizzled.
On top of that! Mercury stationed direct this week. And so these last few days of the week rather have the feeling of finding the end of a Regency-era maze outside of a poppin’ ballroom: you can hear the other partygoers, the hazy candlelight drifting in and out, and you know you’re close, so close, to finding your way out and rejoining the party… but not quite yet.
In part, this is because this moon is moving into a square with Mars, which is still in feelings-forward Cancer. Given the air-water elemental makeup, it’s more likely to look like the frustration or anxiety of not being able to move fast enough, and any incumbent hurt feelings, rather than an outright, explicit conflict.
But the still-wallflower vibes are also in part because Venus (finally!) stations direct about 40 minutes after the Full Moon is exact, and planets are at their slowest during a station. So on the one hand, we do benefit from a Venus-ruled moon focused on connection, beauty, art, that which makes life worth living. On the other hand, questions raised by this last Venus Retrograde — around our relationships with other people and even our relationship to our art — are top of mind. So be patient with yourself, and with others, if things aren’t quite looking exactly how you want yet.
Things are starting to clear, and by early May, and especially come June, the world is going to feel entirely different than it does now. Not only because of the ~world events~, but also because of the astrology. Right now, we’re about to join a rollicking party, but are still gathering our courage from our wallflower comfort zone.
Be gentle, be patient, be kind. And remember that things take the time they take.

If that didn’t hit the nail on the head for my Aquarius rising.
Libra rising here, and I’ve been highlighting my hair with purple since December. After the election, I felt the push to subvert expectations more.
