Open thread — The Great Conjunction & Holiday Week edition!
If you’re like me, you celebrated Yule earlier this week. (Happy Yule, friends! “Bitchin’ Yule,” as my girlfriend says.) However, as Christmas is tomorrow, I wanted to do this week’s thread a bit early.
How did solstice (or Yule) treat you? How did you rest? Did it bring up themes for the writing or for your professional life?
Remember: The Great Conjunction itself is a -slow moving- transit that we are unlikely to witness in our lives right away. However, if you’ve been journaling about it, what are you inviting/initiating? In what area of life are you welcoming change?
What is on deck for you creatively this weekend — input or output wise?
A Bitchin' Yule to you!! I'm just trying to relax a bit this week, which of course I have no idea how to do, but I'm working on it. After reading my Libra Rising prompts for the Great Conjunction I've been thinking about how I did a pile of work with my "inner child" archetype but it felt sticky and weird, and maybe that's because I did all that before realizing I'm transmasc and doing something about it? So I'm going to go back to that work and start again near the beginning and see what new insights and healing I can find there.
Bitchin’ Yule to you! I’ve got another week to get ms revisions to my agent before heading into submissions in Jan/Feb and whoa. I’m really hoping that the conjunction is on my side. Here’s to the in-between...🪐⭐️
