I am very seriously considering joining the Grove, but I wanted to check the estimated times of day for the weekly check-ins and workshops to see how they could work with my job schedule. Do you have any guesses on when you intend those to be? Thanks!
I hear you! Unfortunately, we truly are waiting to poll the folks who sign up for times, so I am uncomfortable committing a guess to paper.
I *can* tell you that Meg and I live in the Eastern time zone, and we ourselves a) often teach/host things on weekends in addition to weekdays and b) are profoundly unlikely to host anything outside of 10am Eastern to 7pm Eastern work hours.
This is not an explicitly production-oriented container, so is not necessarily The Thing for folks looking for direct project-specific support. This is about cultivating a more animistic perspective in our overall life: slowing down, paying more attention to the everyday, noticing our energy patterns, and really giving ourselves the space to both dream and build. This is part of the work of deconstructing a capitalist mindset that tells us we have to work, work, work every day — learning how to listen to Spirit, for example. When integrated, this has a snowball effect on how we approach our creativity.
This container is for folks who understand a spiritual practice to be part of their creative life, and who believe that spiritual practices in and of themselves directly support their creative life. I can't tell you that by setting an intention in our early month rituals, you will then automatically write 500 words a day. I *can* tell you that slowing down and thoughtfully implementing those intentions, while being in community with like-hearted folks, can make a tremendous difference in your daily practice and overall writing life.

Hi Molly,

I hope this helps!
Jeanna
Can you share more about how the Grove will support writing and other creative projects? <3

Thanks for the question,
Jeanna
I think the fact that my first thought was "how can this help me finish project X?" is a sign that I may need this! haha
